What This Warranty Covers

This warranty protects you against defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal residential use for the term selected. It applies to new CR-10 buildings purchased directly from CR-10 or an authorized dealer.

• Standard: 5-Year Limited Craftsmanship Warranty
• Start Date: The earlier of delivery/installation date or customer pickup
• Transferable: Yes, one-time, if the structure remains at the original address and maintenance requirements are met

• Structural framing defects caused by workmanship
• Improper installation of doors/windows leading to water intrusion
• Premature fastener failure due to installation error
• Misaligned factory-installed components (trim, roofing panels, siding) due to workmanship

Coverage applies to residential, normal-use installations following CR-10 site requirements.

What’s Not Covered

• Site/Foundation issues: settling, heaving, washout, or movement when CR-10 did not install the pad, or pad not built to spec
• Acts of God: wind, flood, snow/ice overloads, fire, lightning, trees/branches
• Misuse or alterations: overloading floors/lofts, third-party modifications, relocation by customer or other movers
• Cosmetics and wear: paint fade, minor knots/sap bleed, surface rust, normal expansion/contraction, caulk/touch-up needs
• Moisture/condensation from site ventilation, grade, or drainage conditions
• Pests, mold, mildew or damage from stored chemicals/fuels
• Non-CR-10 accessories and manufacturer-provided parts covered by their own warranties (e.g., shingles, metal panels, doors, windows)

Owner Maintenance Requirements

• Keep building on a level, well-drained pad (gravel recommended). Maintain grade so water flows away.
• Inspect caulk, paint/stain, and touch up as needed; keep vegetation trimmed off walls.
• Clear excessive snow loads per local guidance; keep roof and gutters free-flowing.
• Do not exceed rated floor/loft loads; secure loose items during high wind events.

How Warranty Service Works

1. Submit a claim (form below) within a reasonable time after discovery.
2. We review details/photos to verify eligibility and may schedule an inspection.
3. If approved, CR-10 will repair or replace the affected component(s) within a reasonable timeframe. Remedies are limited to repair/replacement of covered workmanship defects.

This warranty provides specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary by state. Governed by New York law.
